Refund and Returns Policy
At BuyMode, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of Home & Garden Innovation products. Our policy is designed to be transparent and fully compliant with the UK Consumer Rights Act and Consumer Contracts Regulations.
1. Your Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order if you change your mind. To exercise this right:
- Notification: You must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods.
- Return: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the items to us.
- Condition: To receive a full refund, items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
- Refund: We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of return).
2. Faulty or Damaged Goods
We take great pride in the quality of our products. However, if an item arrives faulty, damaged, or is not as described, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act apply:
- Short-term right to reject (30 days): If your item is faulty within 30 days of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Repair or Replacement (6 months): If a fault develops after 30 days but within the first 6 months, we will offer a repair or replacement. If we cannot repair or replace it, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.
3. Failed Description
If the product received does not match the description on our website (e.g., incorrect specifications or features), you are entitled to a full refund or an exchange, at your preference.
4. How to Initiate a Return

- Please include your order number and, in the case of faulty goods, a clear photo of the issue.
5. Return Shipping
For “change of mind” returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For faulty, damaged, or incorrectly described goods, we will provide a pre-paid return label or reimburse your shipping costs.
This policy is written to ensure our customers are fully informed of their legal rights. Failure to provide this information can extend a customer’s right to cancel by up to 12 months, which is why we provide it clearly here and in our FAQ.
